Ways to Give
Your support allows us to continue to provide grief support to children and families after the death of a loved one at no cost to them. We could not do this without our community's donation of time, talents, and finances. Thank you!
Spread the Word
Share with your co-workers, community organizations, church, and any small group you are a part of. Letting people know we are in the community helps bring awareness to Dustin's Place and children's grief. Invite us to present at a staff meeting, lunch, or organization monthly meeting. Share our social media posts and hang up our flyers.
Volunteer
Joining our team and supporting our mission in person is a great way to get involved. We are always looking for volunteer facilitators to be with each group. We are also currently looking for Board Members and Event Committee members.
Attend an Event
Our Annual Join the Journey 5K in May, Join the Journey Golf Tourney in June and Giving Hope Gala in November are great opportunities to learn more about Dustin's Place and show your support to the grieving children and families of our community. Each year in November we also have our community awareness events in honor of National Children's Grief Awareness Month.
Shop our Amazon Wishlist
Every group night our children's groups create something to remember their time together, the topics they discuss, and to remember they are not alone in their grief journey. These craft items help during the time between groups and most of our supplies and needs can be found in our Amazon Wishlist.
Make a Donation
We believe no one should grieve along and finances should never be a barrier as to why someone can not receive the grief support they need. So our groups will always be free to our families and therefore we need your support! It costs approximately $572 a year to provide free grief support to one child.
